Three Day Basic Rock Climbing

Learn the Techniques of Traditional Multi-Pitch Rock Climbing in North Conway!

This is a three day comprehensive course designed to introduce people to the world of traditional multi-pitch rock climbing. This is a perfect course to take if you are a gym climber looking to begin your transition outside or just someone who is interested in learning rock climbing from the beginning with professional instruction. After you have completed this course you should be able to consider yourself a competent follower on multi-pitch rock climbs.

This course will have a maximum number of three participants per guide but can be run as a semi-private (2:1) or private (1:1) course. We will cover such topics as belaying, rappelling, traditional anchor systems, gear removal, footwork and multi-pitch techniques. We will climb every day on the major landmark cliffs here in the Mount Washington Valley.

We are offering a few select dates in an attempt to match people up who are booking as singles and looking for partners but this course is also available anytime by private arrangement.
