INTERNATIONAL MOUNTAIN CLIMBING SCHOOL

I've climbed ice and rock with IMCS for over a decade and they are fantastic. Every guide is committed to helping you realize your goals for the day, and to teaching you as much as you can cram into your head so that you can improve your ability and take on even greater adventures.

Three out of our four kids have disabilities which can really affect their ability to approach, learn, and enjoy new activities. Our experience with IMCS was great from start to finish, from scheduling, matching us with a guide who could work with our kids' special needs, getting everyone geared up for the day with a positive and friendly attitude that set our more nervous kids at ease, and taking us up to climb at a spot where everyone could be challenged but not stressed beyond their limits. Every family member tackled new challenges, learned new skills, and left feeling proud and happy.

Climbing with IMCS is an amazing experience. Their guide services were very accommodating to my schedule and have really positive attitudes. They have so much knowledge about the White Mountains and the climbing areas in them. Even though I do have some experience I felt like I learned so much about climbing safety and etiquette with them. Last season I climb with Conrad and I was able to climb again with him this season. He was patient with me while I rewired my technique and was very helpful with some positive critique. I plan on doing this again in the near future.

We had an outstanding experience with IMCS. From the start, the website was well organized and easy to navigate. I especially appreciated the clear information about working with younger climbers — that gave me confidence in committing to lessons with my daughters.

Our family did a guided climbing trip with IMCS at Cathedral Ledge. We had a great experience. We've done a few guided climbs in other regions and I have to say that this was the best climbing experience we've had outdoors. Paul is a natural teacher, particularly giving my daughter (who's an experience indoor climber) opportunities to learn new skills outdoors. We will definitely book again next time we're in the White Mountains.

I was leading a group that were all relatively new to climbing and they were very welcoming and compassionate with their teaching methods. The instructors are very professional and they know what they are talking about. There was never a moment at the crag or on the wall that I didn't feel secure and in good hands. I would highly recommend IMCS to anyone looking for a great guided experience.

Our summer campers enjoyed two days of repelling and climbing with Chris and Stuart. Our guides were well versed to share skills and challenges for all our climbers.
